Interactive digital curatorship: collective spaces and ambiences for research and training

Abstract

This article is a part of the research "Open Education and Digital Culture: teachers, curatorship, social networks, paths and (trans)formative spaces", coordinated by the first author of this text, funded by CNPq and a Federal Public University, and deals with Interactive Digital Curatorship. The initial goal was to map and dialogue with Brazilian research groups that investigate and interact in/with the singularities of digital culture, and its artifacts, during the pandemic period of COVID-19, between 2020-2022. However, it became evident the need for expansion, and researchers and research groups from other countries were invited to participate, as well as integrated data about the period of return to classes in the spaces of physical presence. The digital space used was Google Maps and in this space the participants will be able to interact with others and edit their own information. This ambience is understood in the research as Interactive Digital Curatorship, and the data, shown throughout the text, evidences that this can be a great resource to contact/access researchers and research groups that investigate digital culture, and also enable the dialogue among all, especially about their research, publications and studies.
