Misconduct, Errata and Retraction
Revista Educação em Análise is a journal committed to ethics in scientific publication and the integrity of research, striving to promote transparency, responsibility, and respect for ethical norms in the academic environment. It seeks to ensure that publications are conducted ethically, honestly, and transparently, avoiding any form of plagiarism or data manipulation, in order to guarantee scientific integrity.
Our ethics policy is in accordance with good practices and ethical guidelines recognized at national and international levels.
SCIENTIFIC MISCONDUCT
We consider the following as scientific misconduct:
Plagiarism and self-plagiarism: Full or partial reproduction of works without proper citation of the source.
Data falsification: Manipulation or invention of research data and results.
False authorship: Attribution of authorship to individuals who did not substantially contribute to the work.
Circumvention of the peer review process: Undue influence on the review and publication process of articles.
Data removal: Intentional exclusion of relevant data that may compromise the research results.
Intentionally misleading citation: Inclusion of references that were not used or are not relevant to the work.
Other unethical practices: Any other conduct that compromises the scientific integrity of the publication.
We encourage the reporting of misconduct and urge those who are aware of unethical practices to contact the editorial team via email: educanalise@uel.br. We guarantee that all reports will be rigorously investigated and treated with the utmost confidentiality.
ERRATA AND CORRECTIONS
Revista Educação em Análise publishes errata and corrections to rectify substantial errors that compromise the validity of publications. Authors should immediately notify the journal of any error that may affect the validity of the work. The erratum will be published clearly, with a detailed description of the error and the corrections made, following this journal's guidelines for the registration and publication of errata.
RETRACTION
The journal reserves the right to retract publications that do not meet accepted ethical and scientific standards. The reasons for retraction include, but are not limited to:
Plagiarism and self-plagiarism
Falsification or manipulation of data and results
Authorship manipulation
Violation of ethical norms
Inaccurate or fraudulent results
Undeclared conflicts of interest
Withdrawn or irreproducible data
