Preprints Policy
A preprint is a preliminary version of a manuscript that has not yet been peer-reviewed but has been made available on an open-access public preprint server. Revista Educação em Análise accepts and encourages the submission of articles that have been previously submitted, accepted, or published in the SciELO Preprints, EmeRI, Advance - SAGE Pub, and OSFPreprints - Center of Open Science repositories.
It is the authors' responsibility to ensure that the content deposited on preprint servers complies with the journal's editorial policies and ethical guidelines, especially regarding originality, novelty, and academic integrity. Under no circumstances may the submitted content have been accepted or published in another scientific journal.
During the submission process, the authors must explicitly declare that the manuscript has been previously made available as a preprint, indicating the server used and the corresponding DOI number, when applicable. The absence of this information may result in the rejection of the manuscript during the initial screening. If the article is accepted and published in Revista Educação em Análise, the authors must update the preprint record on the respective server, providing the complete citation of the final publication, including the DOI of the published version.
