Author Biography

Leoni Maria Padilha Henning, State University of Londrina

Leoni Maria Padilha Henning holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy (UFPR, 1974), Master of Education (MSU, 1976), Master of Science (ISU, 1991), PhD in Education (UNESP, 2003) and Post-Doctorate (Post-Graduate Studies in Philosophy, UFSC, 2014).  He has dedicated his entire academic life to the area of Philosophy and/or Education, currently developing research and teaching activities at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Department of Education of the State University of Londrina. Besides several book chapters and articles published in academic journals, his books stand out: "Positivism, pragmatism and education" (Poiesis, 2013); "Research, teaching and extension in the philosophical-educational field - Possibilities present in the university context" (EDUEL, 2010); "Research, teaching and extension in the philosophical-educational field - Contemporary debate on philosophical education" (EDUEL, 2010); "Violence, indiscipline and education" (EDUEL, 2010), "Philosophy and education: crossed paths" (Appris, 2014), among others.
