Call for Paper Submissions – Thematic Dossier
The Revista Educação em Análise, a scientific journal affiliated with the Department of Education and the Graduate Program in Education at the Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL), announces that it is accepting article submissions for the thematic dossier:
“Contemporary Educational Challenges in Latin America: Research, Teacher Education, and Social Justice in Diverse Contexts.”
This dossier is an outcome of the I International Meeting of Research Groups in Education in Latin America – PPEdu and the IV Meeting of Researchers of the Research Network on Latin American Educational Perspectives – RIPEL, initiatives that seek to strengthen academic dialogue, scientific cooperation, and the production of knowledge committed to public education and social justice across our continent.
The purpose of this dossier is to bring together research studies and academic reflections that address contemporary educational challenges in Latin America, considering different social, political, and cultural contexts, as well as diverse theoretical and methodological perspectives in the field of Education.
General guidelines for the dossier
Articles authored by scholars affiliated with UEL must not exceed 20% of the total number of papers published in the dossier.
Manuscripts must contribute to deepening the thematic discussion, encompassing theoretical, methodological, temporal, and spatial diversity.
Submissions must strictly follow the Journal’s Author Guidelines, including length and formatting requirements.
Articles will be accepted in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, and linguistic revision is required for texts written in foreign languages.
Papers that are not included in the dossier due to editorial criteria may be considered for publication in the free articles section of future issues of the journal.
Submission process
Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the journal’s online system (OJS).
After submission, authors will be able to track all stages of the editorial process through the platform.
Papers will be evaluated according to the journal’s editorial criteria and guidelines.

March 9, 2026 – July 31, 2026
Expected publication date
December 2026
