About the Journal

Aim and Scope

The journal Educação em Análise is a joint initiative of the Department of Education and the Graduate Program in Education of the State University of Londrina. It is published biannually and in open access electronic format. Its aim is to publish unpublished scientific articles, essays and original reviews about educational issues.

Peer Review Process

The text submitted for publication will be evaluated by at least two members of the Editorial Board and/or ad hoc reviewers, selected according to the research area. The reviewer will have 30 to 45 days to issue an opinion on the text.

Evaluation of the text will obey the principle of "double blind evaluation", without identifying the authorship of the contributions. In case of two negative evaluations, the text will be rejected. In case of one negative and one positive opinion, the text will be forwarded to a third reviewer.

It will be up to the evaluators to indicate the publication of the text in its entirety, or with adjustments, or reject it.

Periodicity

Educação em Análise is a biannual publication.

Open Access Policy

This journal offers immediate free access to its contents, with no cost for the author or for the reader, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public provides a greater global democratization of knowledge.

Plagiarism

Academic plagiarism/ Code of Conduc and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)/ Authors' responsibility. Copying a study or part of it, from another author or even from one's own publication, constitutes unacceptable fraud and dishonesty. Ideas and words of other(s), should not be used without identifying the source of information. Articles identified as plagiarized will be rejected and archived.
