The article focuses on the perception of public safety systems operators about the crimes committed with the use of information and communication technologies and their impact on police investigations. The methodology used to conduct the research was the qualitative, semi-structured questionnaires with the officers of the Repression the Cyber Crimes – ESKD, Civil Police of the State of Pará. The results indicate that the cops have serious technical and operational limitations related to media and information, and such difficulties restrict its ability to act.Downloads
