The article focuses on the reading of the short story Isaltina Campo Belo, by the author Conceição Evaristo, based on the study of the exercise of listening and narration and the interlacing of voices present in the text. As an aesthetic choice, the narrator in the first person, in the present of the narration, positions herself as a listener and as an accountant of the reports collected from the conversation with the protagonist of the story giving voice to her. In doing so, the protagonist does not only assume the role of telling of her experiences of black and homosexual women, marked by subalternity, disrespect, prejudice, violence and pain, but it reveals her insubmissions once she becomes the creator of her own history, denying the representation made by the other who always belonged to him. We are faced with the enunciation of equally insubordinate minority discourses that deconstruct the idea of homogeneity and are produced from other places of enunciation. The analytical movement will be grounded by the assumptions of the discursive and enunciative theories of Mikhail Bakhtin and Michel Foucault.Downloads
