About the Journal

Semi-annual publication of the Graduate Program in Letters of the Universidade Estadual de Londrina. Available under Open Access, with CC-BY license, the journal welcomes (a) articles of relevant contribution to scientific knowledge and critical debate in the area of Literary Studies, normally published in dossiers, (b) interviews aimed at discussing a relevant problem with an expert, and (c) reviews of dissemination and critical appreciation of recently published books in the area of Literary Studies. The interviews and reviews are done by professors/researchers invited by the Editorial Board.
The themes for the dossiers are chosen in line with the research areas of the Graduate Program in Literature (PPG in Letras), namely: (1) Representations and textualities, (2) Intermedialities and new artistic forms, and (3) Constructions and identity processes.

Chamada de Artigos (CFP 2026.1): "A poesia brasileira dos anos 1950 a 1980 em sua multiplicidade"

Esse dossiê da Terra Roxa e Outras Terras (v. 46 n.1), a ser publicado até junho de 2026, se propõe a explorar textos que tratem tanto da Poesia Concreta quanto da Geração Mimeógrafo. Acrescido a isso, acolheremos também trabalhos que abordem autores/as que vinham de anos anteriores e outros/as que surgiram nessas quatro décadas, ou se tornaram mais evidentes nelas.

Outras possibilidades:

  • estudo da canção brasileira do período, que se imiscui à poesia;
  • a poesia de autoria e/ou temática negra, de autoria e/ou temática feminina, de autoria e/ou temática homoafetiva; e
  • poemas que tragam como questão a ditadura cívico-militar de 1964-1985.

This dossier examines the impact of media convergence, digitalization, and new technologies on contemporary literature, questioning the role of the book and literary theory in the face of digital platforms, transmedia narratives, and formal experimentation. The published articles analyze topics such as the remediation of memory, digital archives, transmedia storytelling, mashups, social networks, independent publishing, multimedia poetry, electronic games, virtual reality, and algorithmic poetry, highlighting the academic vigor in investigating the relationships between literature, technology, and digital culture in the 21st century.
