This text is a condensed version of the scientific considerations / as the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) and researchers from Argentina about the universal marriage law and the rights of the families of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and trans. Legal aspects are discussed, based on a supposedly “natural law” that ignores and, consequently, discriminates other forms of sexual organization, established parental relationships, marriage and family organizations. It stresses that access to marriage does not exhaust the demands for civil, political and social equality that must continue to be built for making the lives of LGBTTI people and their children, viable. Several studies are referenced which were carried out with homoparental families that are not significantly different from heterosexual families, highlighting that the ethical and political skills can only be done by humans once the nature, in itself, has no will nor the capacity for action or trial.References
