Redes Personales de Egresos del Sistema Penitenciario e Inserción en el Mercado Laboral

Resumen

Este trabajo analiza cómo se estructuran las redes personales de los ex-reclusos y cómo estas redes, combinadas con otros factores importantes -como la escolaridad, la experiencia profesional previa, la trayectoria en prisión y el estigma- impactan en el proceso de inserción de estos individuos en el mercado laboral. Para ello, se aplicaron entrevistas semiestructuradas y cuestionarios sociométricos a seis presos del sistema penitenciario de Minas Gerais. Para analizar los datos utilizamos la técnica de Análisis de Redes Sociales, más concretamente, el Análisis de Redes Personales. Los análisis muestran que (1) las redes de estos egresados ​​están formadas por lazos predominantemente fuertes y que (2) presentan un bajo nivel de renovación; (3) el miedo al prejuicio cierra aún más sus redes personales; y (4) el primer trabajo puede tener un efecto rejuvenecedor en las redes personales de los graduados.
