Abstract

This article analyzes the phenomenon of religious fanatism in the contemporary world, its manifestations in the Western and Eastern Word through the perspective that they represent a specific form of reaction against the disentanglement brought by the modernity advance. Until now, it is easy to conclude that the religious fanatics have come to stay.
