Historical
Mediações – Revista de Ciências Sociais is a rolling publication journal linked to the Graduate Program in Sociology of the State University of Londrina. With twenty-eight years of uninterrupted publication (it was founded in 1996 under ISSN 1414-0543 – printed), Mediações is dedicated to the mission of disseminating high-quality scientific content produced by national and international researchers in the fields of Social Sciences and related areas. To this end, in addition to three thematic dossiers a year, selected through a public call, Mediações has a free section for articles, both operating as rolling publication, as well as reviews that are only published on our website.
The journal publishes original articles (preferably from research funded by national and local funding agencies), as well as preprints, that are initially screened by Section Editors and undergo at least two double-blind and/or open reviews by specialists.
Our Editorial Board, regulated by Internal Regulations, consists of nine scholar-researchers from the three areas of Social Sciences, with three from UEL and six external advisors from other national and/or international institutions. Our Scientific Advisory Board is composed of nationally and internationally recognized scientists.
In 2022, it received an A4 rating in Sociology, its primary field (Qualis-Capes: 2017-2020). Since 2009, the journal has been available in electronic format (ISSN 2176-6665). It is currently funded by PPGSOC/UEL and CNPq.
