Abstract

The purpose of this text is to demonstrate the proximity of the Kantian and Freudian assumptions regarding the argumentation about the need for association of human beings opposed to an unsociability inherent to human nature. The starting point for the following reflections deals specifically with an analysis of the text "Idea of a universal history from a cosmopolitan point of view" by Imanuel Kant and "Civilization and its discontents" by Sigmund Freud.
