The present review of the work The Social Bases of the New Brazilian Union Centers, co-authored by the researchers: Paula Marcelino, Andreia Galvão and Patrícia Vieira Tropia, aims to present the reorganization of Brazilian unionism after the rise of the Workers' Party to the federal government. The context is marked by the split of CUT into dissenting currents that formed new union centrals, namely, CSP-Conlutas, Intersindical, CTB and UGT. The research carried out by the authors allows to trace the socioeconomic and political profile of the delegates. Through surveys in congresses and plenary sessions, it is possible to outline party political conceptions, the flags of struggle, the predominant economic sector of the centrals, among other aspects.Downloads
