Redes Pessoais de Egressos do Sistema Prisional e Inserção no Mercado de Trabalho

Resumo

Este trabalho analisa como estão estruturadas as redes pessoais de egressos do sistema prisional e como essas redes, combinadas a outros fatores importantes – como escolaridade, experiência profissional prévia, trajetória no cárcere e o estigma – impactam o processo de inserção desses indivíduos no mercado de trabalho. Para tal, foram realizadas aplicação de entrevistas semiestruturadas e de questionários sociométricos a seis egressos do sistema prisional de Minas Gerais. Para analisar os dados utilizamos da técnica de Análise de Redes Sociais, mais especificamente, a Análise de Redes Pessoais. As análises mostram que (1) as redes desses egressos são formadas por laços predominantemente fortes e que (2) apresentam um baixo nível de renovação; (3) o medo do preconceito fecha ainda mais suas redes pessoais; e (4) o primeiro emprego pode ter um efeito de rejuvenescimento sobre as redes pessoais dos egressos.
