Dinámica del control de la acción colectiva: protestas policiales en Rio Grande Do Sul (1970-2015)

La investigación es parte del debate sobre los movimientos sociales y el Estado, enfocándose en cómo las instituciones estatales controlan la acción de los activistas. Con base en aportes de la literatura internacional sobre protestas policiales, busca realizar un mapeo longitudinal de patrones y variaciones en las protestas policiales en el estado de Rio Grande do Sul desde 1970 a 2015. Basado en datos del proyecto "Regímenes y repertorios asociativos : oportunidades políticas y organización social en Brasil ", analizamos los hechos de protesta ocurridos en el estado de Rio Grande do Sul entre 1970 y 2015 a partir de dos ejes rectores: selectividad del repertorio policial en actores y reclamos; Interacciones tácticas entre manifestantes y fuerzas policiales. Los resultados indican el predominio de tácticas de represión física, poco tolerantes a la manifestación pública de demandas colectivas, con el rol de la Policía Militar; la concentración de la acción policial en demandas y grupos más "amenazantes" para las élites políticas; la tendencia a que las tácticas disruptivas de acción colectiva sean controladas con más dureza.Descargas
