Repository Policy

Mediações promotes open access to scientific research by encouraging the unrestricted dissemination of scholarly work. Our repository policy aligns with best practices in academic publishing and allows, and even encourages, the deposit of all manuscript versions (preprints, postprints, and published articles) into open access trustable repositories without any restrictions or embargo.

Mediações has also been discussing the possibility of creating a specific institutional repository, to be made available to all journals within the UEL Journal Portal, for the sharing of data, codes, methods, and other materials used and resulting from the research underlying the articles published by the journals, provided the authors wish to do so. However, in the absence of Mediações’ own repository, we recommend that authors host their materials in the SciELO repository or others recommended by SciELO.
