In this issue of Mediações - Revista de Ciências Sociais, the dossier “State, economy and social classes in contemporary Latin America” stands out, organized by Adrián Piva (Universidad de Buenos Aires) and Danilo Enrico Martuscelli (Federal University of the Southern Frontier). The presentation by the organizers provides an overview of the contemporary political and economic context of Latin American countries, outlining the main effects of power relations between the State, the economy and social classes. The dossier consists of six other articles that include analyzes of most of the political and economic experiences of countries in Latin America.Downloads
