Abstract

In this edition Revista Mediações presents the dossier “Right-wing thinking and chauvinism in Latin America”, organized by Jefferson Rodrigues Barbosa. Theme of fundamental importance for understanding the configuration of political and ideological currents that shape right-wing thinking and organizations in Brazil and Latin America. The dossier gathers an interesting sample of the research developed in the scope of Social Sciences and History, contributing to a field of studies still little explored in Brazil, which consists of the manifestations of movements and political parties with contemporary autocratic ideological conceptions.
