Abstract

In this year of 2011, Mediações celebrates 15 years. Period in which, thanks to the support of the Araucária Foundation and the Graduate Programs of the Department of Social Sciences at UEL and the commitment of the people who at various times are part of the Editorial Committee, the magazine has published 32 issues uninterruptedly , all of them available in electronic format, contributing to the dissemination of research, translations and debates of relevance to the Social Sciences. In anniversary time, the dossier of this issue, organized and presented by Ariana Bazzano and Silvana Mariano, is dedicated to the analysis of the events of September 11, 2001 and its developments, a decade later.
