The reviewers should: Inform if it is possible to carry out the evaluation within the stipulated period; Verify if the article meets the editorial proposal and the scope of the journal; Evaluate the conceptual consistency of the article; Attempt to the ineditism of the article; To ensure that there are no plagiarism or misappropriation of other publications and authors; Take into account to the relationship between: research subject, adopted methodology and theoretical references; Prioritize for publication the articles with explicit and prominent contributory proposals; Prioritize articles that present partial or final results of research projects; Assure the confidentiality of analyzed documents.

It is the duty of reviewers, whose editorial decisions are final in Mediações, to observe all rules, norms, and procedures specified in the journal's editorial policy and specific recommendations for reviewers. They must adhere to the deadlines and conditions proposed by the journal, ensuring confidentiality of reviewed documents and the quality and integrity of approved research for publication.
