This review focuses on the work "I, Mediator: Mediation and Reader Formation," by Chilean author Felipe Munita, originally published in 2021 by Ediciones Octaedro and released in Brazil in October 2024 by Solisluna/Instituto Emília. In the book, Munita discusses and sheds light on the concepts of reading and mediation and the role of the actors involved in the process of reader formation. The work is highly recommended for those who work with books and with children and young people, including teachers, librarians, and administrators working in basic education. It is also recommended for researchers and higher education faculty working in reading and literary education.
