Abstract

This article is the result of the analysis of the implicits in the lyrics of songs "My world is mud" and "My soul (the peace that I do not want)," both from the band "The Rappa." The study aimed to identify the assumptions and implied explored in texts, and for this we used an analysis model presented by Zandwais (1990), by which it was found that the lyrics are rich in information and implied that these strategies are importants to say what can not be said explicitly. Besides the mentioned author, Kleiman (2004), Smith (2003), Martins (2003) among others, contributed to the theoretical.
