Abstract

Peripheral and marginal literatures are the objects of analysis and discussion in this dossier. Because they are powerful and questioning artistic expressions in that they shed light on social ills and their consequences in the social life of historically subordinated populations, these poetics and narratives have been occupying a prominent place in debates about art and resistance today. Not unrelated to this, in this second edition, the organizers provide readers of Boitatá magazine with an interview with slammaster Emerson Alcalde, aiming to broaden and deepen the public/academic debate on the poetic expression "Slam".
