Abstract

The dossier THE MANIFESTATIONS OF POPULAR CULTURE AND ITS MULTIPLE DIALOGUES takes place in a circle, whose playing members, in this space, hold hands creating an infinite, strong and collaborative circle. In this circle, while one person is at the center, singing, telling and performing their story, their plot, the others participate in a tour of knowledge, smiles, bodies and voices.
In this dossier, we make public a series of studies and organic experiences on manifestations of popular culture. Here, we cultivate the plurality of knowledge and flavors that are born, grow and resist among the people and for them. This knowledge is formed by a multiplicity of voices, of thoughts; they are made alive in bodies that resist time, struggles and attempts at erasure.
This circle of culture is endless, because it feeds on the daily life of the people. As long as there are people, there will be culture, which will manifest itself through the word, resignified and personified in the word-letter, in the word-voice, but also in the word-body, in the word-ink, in the word-clay...
It is through the word that the being becomes man and woman, but it is through culture that this man and this woman become people. Therefore, we invite you to read this dossier. It is no longer an archive, of those who hide papers, knowledge. The texts that make up this collection gain strength if read not only with the eyes but, in a circular-kinesthetic movement, if they are felt with the body, if their voices are heard, the taste of their senses are savored, because culture exists to be tasted. , and may our hairs bristle before its powers, and our hearts rejoice before the soul of this living entity.
