Abstract

This report is based on travels that took place at the beginning of 21st century, and it is part of the project Cartografias marajoaras (1999-2003), which aims at constituting drawings of the Marajoara culture, specially, from oral voices with a view to configuring maps in riverine outskirts. The travel narratives bring ethnographic traces and represent passages, conviviality, falls, all assured in imaginary constructions of a traveler in search of the poetic oralities, so important in the region. There are no theoretical references to base the paths, the construction takes place in the attempt to apprehend a sensitive world, which constitutes the narrators and the listener. The text is divided into three parts: of the desire to say, it presents the work in a panoramic way and explains the reason of the writing; in the ticket office, it is assured some paths followed and the plots are clarified; with hammocks tied up, the boat swings bringing the movement, the routes, the heart of the travel.
