This essay intends to analyse the speeches and singins of the Guarani People under the theoretical frame of oral poetics as developed in the studies of Ong (1982) and Zumthor (2007). This paper will also bring out some aspects of Guarani Mithology using for such aim the studies and records of Campbell (2002), Chamorro (2008), Nimuendaju (1987), and Kaká Werá Jecupé (2001), analyzing the Guarani word under its many aspects: cultural, ideological, mitological and divine.Downloads
