The main objective of this article is to propose a reflection on Fernando Namora’s work mostly based on the concept of “Pensamento-paisagem,” by Michel Collot. In addition to dedicating himself to literature, Namora painted, created sculptures, and wrote film scripts, showing attentiveness to various artistic manifestations. As he traversed the arts, he also moved through different landscapes, both rural and urban, which significantly influenced his compositions. In dialogue with these biographical inclinations, but not confined to merely transposing lived experiences into literary production, this article aims to demonstrate how the landscape contributes to the construction of his works. This involves analyzing poems from the anthology As Frias Madrugadas (1951) in resonance with two of the author’s paintings: Árvores (1964) and Paisagem (1972). The research primarily relies on Pontos de vista sobre a percepção de paisagens (2012) and Poética e Filosofia da Paisagem (2013) by Michel Collot.
