We propose a comparative study of Ariano Suassuna’s Auto da compadecida (1955), a micro-series with the same title by Guel Arraes, broadcast in four chapters by Rede Globo in January 1999. Finally, the transformation of this series to a film in 2001. The objective is to address all aspects taken together or in their details to provide contributions for understanding how the medium of circulation is necessary as a prominent element in literary texts adapted to other media and how different consumers relate to the transposed work.Downloads
