Abstract

This paper intends to observe how the Italian translation of Lygia Fagundes Telles’s novel, As meninas, deals with the narrator’s types and the multiplicity of voices. Through some examples, we observe that sometimes the Italian text can’t keep the ambiguity in the change of narrator because of the linguistic differences between Portuguese and Italian.
