The debate as a textual genre to be incentivated in language classes

The present work proposes the inclusion of debates as a text genre to be developed in the processes of teaching-learning a mother tongue and foreign languages due to the communicative needs to be developed or improved in the Brazilian school context within the sociodiscursive interactional perspective.
