Osteocondrose dissecante na articulação escápulo-umeral de bovino

Relato de um caso de osteocondrose dissecante na articulação escapulo umeral (ombro) em um bovino, macho, SRD, com idade de 5 meses, com história de claudicação a mais ou menos 10 dias. No exame radiográfico, a articulação apresentou-se com pequena alteração na cabeça do úmero e a região crânio central da cavidade glenóide da escápula apresentava-se totalmente destruída, numa área de 3 cm de diâmetro por 1 cm de profundidade, e a tuberosidade infra glenóide e suas adjacências com esclerose óssea. 0 tratamento cirúrgico constou de um acesso crânio lateral da articulação, com tenotomia do músculo infraespinhoso para expor as lesões da osteocondrose dissecante na articulação. O acesso mostrou-se viável e o animal após 3 meses de cirurgia apresentou-se totalmente reabilitado.
