Service Design for Social Innovation: reflections on sustainability

Abstract

The intersection of Service Design and Design for Social Innovation is interesting in sustainability studies. This article comes from a research that identified heuristics to expand social cohesion in urban agriculture initiatives and it proposes theoretical reflections on the convergence of those themes. To do so, both systematic and unsystematic bibliographic reviews are employed. It presents conceptual definitions, including principles for the social dimension and their potential impacts on social innovation.
