Abstract

This article aims to present an analysis methodology for the framework. O marco is a type of poetic structure used by northeastern singers and bench poets. Used by improvisers as a demarcation of geographic space for their singing, in the beginning of the twentieth century the landmark begins to appear in the leaflets as a rubric for marking authorship. The poet writes a landmark to exalt his artistic gifts and leave a mark of your poetry. The landmark is an indestructible fortress from which the poet, sings, fame, celebrates his construction and challenges any other subject to come and attack his castle. Narrative engaging and fantastic, the landmark is part of the tradition of cordel literature and singing However, studies published on this poetic structure are scarce. We we propose in this article to suggest a path of access to these texts, that facilitates the analysis of future studies on the landmark in cordel literature.
