Yuxin is a novel published in 2009, but set in 1919, in the dense forests of Acre. To reconstruct this environment, through language, Ana Miranda2 gave voice to a woman. It is through the female perception that we enter this fictional universe that reaches the reader by the sensory. The narrative develops in first person, with flows of consciousness rhythmic by “thinking of an India”, which differs from thinking in “Portuguese-Brazilian” language, which also makes Yuxin a narrative that goes against indigenous stereotypes represented in Brazilian literature, since the symbolic order shows women as transgressive and in it the language is worked by the roots of the language, the speech of India is not just her voice, but the voice of the whole environment in which she lives, the voice of the forest.
