The tales collected by the Brothers Grimm has been traditionally considered as exemplary narratives of the literature written for children. However, today we are witnessing the most diverse readings of the texts published by the brothers, which seems to suggest a power of these texts beyond the traditional classification. Seeking diverse paths, this text examines the staging of the drive of looking at two versions of the story “Daughter of Mary” (Marienkind), linking this theme to the very nature of the marvelous tale.Downloads
