The report-novel: aesthetic and ideological implications

The pact established between journalism and literature in the 70s, more specifically from the literature that focus on journalism, was the basis of the novel-report, which acted with significance in the period of military dictatorship. It was in this context of repression and violence that the novelreport set its foundations and strengthened itself, for journalists silenced by censorship, and by the official version of events had to seek other means to communicate the Brazilian reality. Some thoughts about this genre are this article’s propositions to discuss.Downloads
