Error analysis and written production in Spanish as a foreign language

In the first part of this paper, some basic concepts are presented concerning the following models: Contrastive analysis, Error analysis and Interlanguage. In the second part, the results of an investigation carried out on the errors made by undergraduate students in a Spanish language course are presented.
