In this article the generic dimensions of the so called "classroom discourse" are analyzed in order to discuss the modes of unfolding certain genres in oral production. The results obtained reveal that the school interaction situation makes it possible the construction of several genres and that the discursive production of the subjects is organized in enunciation modalities which present specific compositional forms, themes and styles that demand further research by in-service and pre-service teachers.
