The Methodology of Problematization in Higher Education and its contribution to the field of praxis

The characteristics of the Methodology of Problematization in Higher Education are associated to lhe concept of praxis related to the Historical Materialistic conception, continuing lhe reflections regarding the educational validity and the possibilities of the use of this melhodology. In lhe first part of the paper, the Methodology of Problematization is explained step by step. In the second part, the concept of praxis and the formation of a consciousness of praxis is developed based on Vazquez's (1977) interpretation of Marx's theory. This perspective reveals lhe possible relations of theory-practice While experiencing this methodology. An analysis of the development of the Methodology tries to show in which manner does it approach and bases itself on the concept of praxis. The third part reveal the work experience with lhe Melhodology of Problematization with students of the Masters Degree of the State University of Londrina, with some results already obtained by two groups of students of the Didactics and Teaching Foundafions subject. The perspective of a continuous comprehension and application improvement of this Methodology closes the reflections.Downloads
