Euthanasia

Abstract

This study enters the medicolegal context of euthanasia, analyzing concepts, historical action that is taken to some scholars as an act of charity and mercy and to others as a heinous act of murder. Analyzes the subject in light of bioethics and medical ethics, considering the fundamental value of human dignity as a backdrop to practice or not euthanasia. The research aims to euthanasia Institute analysis in Brazil in the face of Brazilian law at first, expanded later by the comparative law to other people analyzing the relevant laws of different countries. Although addressed in a special way the perspective of law, especially in Brazil, is observed on the theme of development, the psychological and human aspects.
