Thinking intermediality in theater evokes some reflection: does the presence of other media onstage alter the configuration or the manifestation of theatricality? In order to evolve this discussion, I use some cinematic and theatrical achievements as triggering hypotheses and assumptions concerning the presence of intermediality in contemporary stage. The aim of this paper is to reflect on how they interact with the concepts of intermediality and theatricality, focusing on the relationship between theater and cinema.Downloads
