Abstract

This article presents the results of a research about how the Portuguese language textbooks evaluated in the PNLD/1999 have worked with texts from the printed media. In the analysis, the media texts presented are modified, which can bring consequences for the teaching of reading.

Author Biography

Luzia Bueno, Universidade São Francisco

Professora do Programa de Mestrado em Educação da Universidade São Francisco na cidade de Itatiba-SP. É doutora em Lingüística Aplicada pela PUC-SP e é membro dos grupos ALTER-CNPQ (Análise da Linguagem, Trabalho Educacional e suas Relações) e LAF (langage, acion, formation), desenvolvendo pesquisas, nas linhas linguagem e trabalho, linguagem e ensino de língua materna. Possui graduação em Letras pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1991), graduação em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1994), mestrado em Lingüística Aplicada pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2002), fez um estágio de doutorado em Ciências da Educação - University of Génève (2006), sob a orientação do professor Jean-Paul Bronckart.
