The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of time and temperature after collection of erithrograms; from cattle using blood samples from twenty Black and White Holstein adult females that were clinically healthy. The number of red-blood-cells, the concentration of hemoglobin and the percentage of hematocrits were enumerated. The corpuscular rates (MCV, MCH and MCHC) were calculated in twelve hour intervals during a period of forty-eight hours. Significant variations of the eritrhograms were observed when determined for each of their hematological parameters. The decrease or the increase of an hour in the results, related to the periods of time and temperature, were also observed. Considering the interaction of temperature versus time after collection, temporal limits of security for the execution of the erithrograms were determined.
