Abstract

The agronomic behaviour of 17 cultivars of lettuce in 6 different growing seasons in Londrina-PR, Brazil was evaluated. The results showed that the best cultivars were: Brasil 211, Auréüa, Regina 70, Regina 55 e Black Simpson in the winter; Aurélia and Great Lakes in the Spring; Brasil 311, Aurélia, Vitória de Santo Antão, Regina 55 e Regina 70 in the summer; and Brasil 211, Babá e Great Lakes in the autumn "Maravilha de verão" and "Appia" showed problems of early flowering.
