Objective: to present a panorama of the scientific dissemination of Linked Data in the main events in Brazil.
Methodology: qualitative and quantitative research, with descriptive data analysis about Linked Data. Data collection was carried out in annals of scientific events that had a periodicity in the area of Information Science in Brazil, Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Ciência da Informação (ENANCIB), ISKO Brazil Chapter, Seminário em Ciência da Informação (SECIN) and Colóquio em Organização, Acesso e Apropriação da Informação e do Conhecimento (COAIC), during the last six years (period from 2015 to 2021). Discussion: We identified 37 full papers published in the proceedings of the events that address the Linked data, in title, keywords, or abstract. The number of papers published per year, the most productive authors, the amount of authorship per paper, and the most used keywords were identified and analyzed, as the number of keywords assigned in each publication.
Results: mapping of the 37 papers on Linked Data in the afore events. Of the 56 authors, was found that nine were responsible for 42.2% of the studies presented at the events and there is a preference for two or three authors per paper.
Considerations: In 28 papers, the term "Linked Data" is used; in 18 papers there is the incidence of the term "Semantic Web"; it was found that the terms "Linked Open Data", "Linked Open Data" and "Open Data" are used to represent the concept of Linked Data, a reason for concern due to the terminological variation given the retrieval and revocation of the Linked Data concept.
