Negociación de asuntos interculturales en espacios telecolaborativos

La utilización de la Internet en el área de la enseñanza y aprendizaje de lenguas es objeto de investigación. Sin embargo, no existen estudios que se ocupan de la revisión de trabajos enfocados en la negociación de asuntos interculturales en contextos telecolaborativos. Eso, sumado a la relevancia de revisiones de literatura, nos ayudó a definir el objetivo de ese estudio, es decir, comprender el modo por el cual ocurrió la negociación de asuntos interculturales en espacios telecolaborativos en cuatro trabajos: Understanding the ‘Other Side’: Intercultural Learning in a Spanish-English E-mail Exchange (O’DOWD, 2003); The use ofvideoconferencing and e-mail as mediators of intercultural student ethnography (O’DOWD, 2006); Using e-learning to develop intercultural awareness in ELT: a critical evaluation in a Thai higher education setting (BAKER, 2012a) y, finalmente; Exploring ‘new’ interculturality online (DERVIN, 2014). El análisis demostró que el contacto entre culturas no garantiza el entendimiento intercultural y que el concepto de cultura permanece asociado con una concepción esencialmente nacional.
