A key proposal with which it organizes the work of Caio Fernando Abreu is to represent the trajectory of the subject homoerotic in Brazilian society. This fact resulted in the proliferation of critical studies on it, especially in the last decades of the twentieth century, motivated by the currents of post-structuralism, especially feminism. In Brazil, some sparse approaches began to emerge only in the nineties, because although the theme has always been recurrent in Brazilian literature critics did not dare to discuss it. In the specific case of Caio Fernando Abreu, critics have conducted studies that favor one or another narrative of the author, without having a broader discussion on the issue or tried to see the impact of homoeroticism as a thematic thread driver essential among its productions. Given the above, our discussion suggests a brief discussion aiming to trace the routes of the symbolic relationship between the subject and the homoerotic fictional world in which it is presented.Downloads
