“Lembrança de morrer” e o Guesa: dialogues

The present work discusses the presence of a titanic posture inside the Brazilian romantic poetry. Supported in the concept of romantic irony, present in the center of the ideas of the romantic Group of Iena, we will make a reappraisal of the poem “ Memory of dying”, of Álvares de Azevedo, and of a fragment of Guesa, of Sousândrade, pointing for the presence of an inherent rational beginning to those works.Downloads
